   You mean you’ve never seen what happens when wildebeest herds cross rivers? And they have to use the same watering holes everyone else does. Nature photographers just love filming wildebeest getting eaten, or escaping getting eaten.
   
   It’s an old, old story: giant crocs used to lie in wait for giant dinos, including the biggest land carnivores known to date. A croc as long and heavy as a T. rex would give even a Spinosaurus or cousin thereof a deadly workout.
