No one in town -- neither the real estate developer nor the relatives -- was happy when Farmer Ray left everything to his beloved farm animals. So they fled in fear, leaving a spunky young girl named Pearl to battle for their rights. Now the farm is theirs, but neither Pearl, nor the Wise Crow, nor the Weird Rabbits, can find them. Join the intrepid trio as they adventure their way across the land, seeking wide and far for their long lost home sweet home.

They need to take a breather and stop in at Ted Drewes for some custard concretes whilst they’re there.

Beware! They make a mean barbeque in St. Louis
and all three of you would be up for grabs.

Doc - You’re right, they must have gotten hold of some of your coffee to make it across Colorado, Kansas & Missouri in record time. I’m surprised the BBQ places in KC didn’t get a hold of them.

They need to head up the Mississippi River and go to Wisconsin, aka the Dairy State.
Since the cows look like Holsteins, they would fit right in there.
Weren’t their crimes committed in the Greater Los Angeles Area?
If so, they could have more or less followed the original route of The Mother Road, aka the old US 66, to get to St. Louis, Missouri. I have been on all of the Mother Road between Joplin, Missouri and Santa Monica, California. Not all on the same trip of course. But, I have been on the Interstate system between Tulsa and Santa Monica during the same 3 week Period. And I have traveled between Tulsa and St. Louis several times on the Interstate. The last time on I-44 was a round trip between Tulsa and Joplin on Labor Day Weekend.
They could take “The River Road” which follows the Mississippi River. I have taken that from St. Paul, MN down to St. Louis by car. Yes, I also drove in Wisconsin.
