No one in town -- neither the real estate developer nor the relatives -- was happy when Farmer Ray left everything to his beloved farm animals. So they fled in fear, leaving a spunky young girl named Pearl to battle for their rights. Now the farm is theirs, but neither Pearl, nor the Wise Crow, nor the Weird Rabbits, can find them. Join the intrepid trio as they adventure their way across the land, seeking wide and far for their long lost home sweet home.

And they’re all in color, too!
Marg and Carmy, how do you get boldface here?

Rakkav, type in 2 asterisks before and after the word you want to be bold. Type 3 asterisks before and after the word you want to be be bold, italic. Type 1 asterisk before and after the word you want to be italic. (Don’t skip spaces between the word and the asterisk.)

Peter Piper pecked a pack of postal peepers…

My late partner, Ed, grew up on a farm. One day when he was a little boy, h was with his mother at another location and he saw a very large rooster.
He exclaimed, “Look at the big pecker!”
He said his mother turned bright red.
What did 2 Cows do? Open a sealed letter that was already put into the mail box? Notice that Chicken forgot to put up the red flag on the side of the mail box to let the mail carrier that there was outgoing mail.
If Chicken is a White Leghorn and Gwenella is too, they both have red eyes. The White Leghorn breed is an albino fowl. Albinos, no matter what species, tend to have red eyes.
Of course, since Gwenella dressed like a hooker, she could have been wearing green contact lenses.
In my experience of raising chickens, I would say that since the comb of Chicken looks like that of a hen, she must not be a rooster. Must be a Lesbian love affair.

Joe Allen Doty, see yesterday. Once and for all, Chicken is a SIR.
That said, maybe Steve could get some useful feedback from you as one who has raised chickens and know what they look like.

Pull the band-aids off fast - and all at once.
Joe Allen Doty said, 4 months ago
Yesterday, they were pretending to be in a court room and the use of the word “Sir” when one Cow was talking to the Defense implies absolutely nothing.
Have you noticed that the 2 Cows are not drawn anatomically correct either? They don’t have udders.
They are drawn genderless.

But, this whole comic strip is drawn from the imagination of Steve Skelton.

While all poultry breeds have breasts - even the roosters, Gwenella has human type breasts which would have to be fake, too.

Thank you for your comments, everyone! I really enjoy reading them. Basically, the two cows are female and the chicken is a male. Even though chicken is not a rooster, he is still of male persuasion for this strip. Perhaps he is a cockerel, or a capon, but it really doesn’t matter as he is just a male for the sake of the strip………

Hopefully there are at least 739 instruments in the band aids department, or the band will be dismantled.
If there’s only one band aid left, let’s hope its a trumpet. The trumpet section should be seven-deep.
A trumpet is very portable and healing in its tones.
(just waiting now for nighthawks to swoosh in….)

This incident sparks a new proverbial question….
Why did the cows cross the chicken?

Sskelton - don’t sweat it - I don’t. The one that does bother me that is blatantly wrong is the barnyard cartoon on tv that has a supposedly male cow with an udder.
