No one in town -- neither the real estate developer nor the relatives -- was happy when Farmer Ray left everything to his beloved farm animals. So they fled in fear, leaving a spunky young girl named Pearl to battle for their rights. Now the farm is theirs, but neither Pearl, nor the Wise Crow, nor the Weird Rabbits, can find them. Join the intrepid trio as they adventure their way across the land, seeking wide and far for their long lost home sweet home.

Zip on the toon front.
Superfrog said, 5 months ago
Well either there’s a perfectly logical explanation or there isn’t.

Hmm, maybe this is what Max Cannon is talking about. (comics - Washington Post - web comics.) There’s a blurb at that site which doesn’t show up on this site. Maybe it explains why Red Meat wasn’t updated.

Has anyone seen my cows? Or did they chicken out on me?
Quaby said, 5 months ago
I think that might be Chicken in the oven with the rice and onion soup. (peeks into oven). Nope, these are nice, fat chicken breasts…it’s not our Chicken.
Anyway, goodmorning, gang. Funny thing is, it took a moment for me to think I had gone straight to comments, and another couple moments to realize there’s no strip, not even yesterday’s strip.

Hey, with the cows and chicken gone, does this mean the farm might be up for sale again?

The initial file I uploaded came in at 0KB, so I reloaded it this morning, but the system still wants to show the 0KB file.

I knew all along that their lives of crime would catch up to them. All they can hope for is the mercy of Judge Judy now.
grazer said, 5 months ago
Sadly, a criminal record will not look good in their USDA file.
(Today’s predictament reminds me of those funny Sienfeld court episodes.)
johnnydoc5 said, 5 months ago
thanks, Steve, that was a good one.
I agree grazer, it was just like that Seinfeld episode.

Thanks for the link Steve. Those three are never going to see the light of day. That must be why the strip didn’t appear. It’s been confiscated as evidence.

They are the Prime suspects in multiple crimes. I hope the cops don’t Lean on them.
They don’t have and Choice but to Select the best Grade A attourney they can find, now that they are no longer at Large.

They could’ve pleaded Mad Cow Disease and Bird Flu and at least been quarantined, not jailed. (What would happen next is another question…)
I guess animals really will do whatever they need to do to survive. Maybe they should’ve pleaded “our instincts made us do it.”
Thanks, Steve, for redirecting us to the strip!

They took the cartoon as evidence of the chicken assaulting the judge….

Patience won out. There it be.
How do you punish 2 cows and a chicken any way/ Sentenced to be fast food?
Johanan Rakkav

For them, that would indeed be capital punishment. Off with their heads!
